Cincinnati, Ohio, October 16, 2020 – Great Place to Work® and Fortune have honored Finit as one of the 2020 Best Small & Medium Workplaces™. The ranking is based on confidential survey feedback representing more than 189,000 employees working at small- and medium-sized businesses in the United States.

Finit is a consulting firm serving some of the world’s largest organizations to craft, deliver, and sustain Corporate Performance Management (CPM) technology solutions. One of only two companies in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana named to the 2020 FORTUNE Best Medium Workplaces list, Finit is the highest ranked medium-sized company in the region.

Great Place to Work, a global people analytics and company culture research firm, evaluated more than 60 elements of team members’ experience at work. These included the extent to which employees trust leaders, the respect with which people are treated, the fairness of workplace decisions, and how much camaraderie there is among the team.

Rankings are based on employees’ feedback and reward companies that best include all employees, no matter who they are or what they do for the organization.

“A high level of mutual trust within our organization is in our DNA. The culture established by our founders makes it easy for partners and employees to live these principles daily. This recognition by our people for who we are and what we do every day is truly a celebration of each member of our Finit family and their contributions,” stated Nicole Emerson, Finit Employee Relations Manager.

From Finit’s beginning through to today, every decision at Finit stems from the principles of putting people before profit and being in service to others. The events of 2020 demonstrated how these values ensure a strong and secure organization.

Chad Durian, Managing Partner at Finit, stated, “We recently learned that our culture and conservative approach to business were fundamental in helping us meet the recent unforeseen global crisis from a position of stability, security, and sustainability. We did not furlough or lay off any employees, and in fact, added to our Finit family this summer. We offered flexibility for staff to focus on their family priorities.”

“The challenges we each faced this past year reminded us why mutual trust, respect, and compassion for each and every member of our Finit family are such a vital foundation for a strong company,” added Finit’s Founding Partner and CEO, Rob Cybulski. “While we are honored to be included on this list, we believe there is always room for improvement. In fact, we recently created a Diversity & Inclusion Council dedicated to ensuring Finit continues to grow as a diverse and inclusive organization.”

The Best Small & Medium Workplaces stand out for excelling in one of the nation’s most competitive marketplaces.

“Best Workplaces like Finit have built dynamic, flexible, and transparent workplaces founded on trust,” said Michael C. Bush, CEO of Great Place to Work. “This gives companies on this list a powerful opportunity not just to do well for their people, but also to do well for their businesses.”

“Our ‘people before profit’ culture empowers us to effectively compete in today’s business climate and, really, it sets us apart from other organizations. When we ask our clients what is the value that Finit brings, they talk about how our people take on client projects as their own. Client success equals Finit success, and that does not happen without a ‘people before profit’ culture,” stated Greg Barrett, Managing Partner at Finit. “Being recognized as one of the 2020 FORTUNE Best Small to Medium Workplaces affords us third party validation of what we see play out every day on every project.”

To be considered for the FORTUNE Best Workplace list, companies had to meet the Great Place to Work-Certified standard. To ensure survey results truly represent all employees, Great Place to Work requires that Trust Index© survey results are accurate to a 95% confidence level with a 5% margin of error or better.

Companies with 10-99 people were considered for the small list; companies with 100-999 employees were considered for the medium list.

About the Best Small & Medium Workplaces
To determine the 2020 Best Small Workplaces list and the 2020 Best Medium Workplaces list, Great Place to Work® gathered and analyzed confidential survey feedback representing more than 189,000 employees working in small- and medium-sized businesses in the United States. Employees responded to over 60 survey questions describing the extent to which their organization creates a great place to work For All™.

Eighty-five percent of the evaluation is based on what employees say about their experiences of trust and reaching their full human potential as part of their organization, no matter who they are or what they do. Great Place to Work analyzes these experiences relative to each organization’s size, workforce make up, and what’s typical relative to their peers in the industry.

The remaining 15 percent of the rank is based on assessing how consistent employees’ daily experiences of innovation, the company’s values, and their leaders’ effectiveness are.
