Cincinnati, Ohio, August 6, 2020 – Finit, a consulting firm serving some of the world’s largest organizations to craft, deliver, and sustain Corporate Performance Management (CPM) technology solutions, today announces that the company has been named the #8 on the FORTUNE Best Workplaces for Millennials™ 2020 (Small & Medium Companies) by Great Place to Work® and FORTUNE. Finit is the only company in the Ohio/Kentucky/Indiana tri-state area to be named to this list
“Now more than ever, it is important for companies to act in the best interests of their employees,” stated Angie Apple, Co-Founder of Finit. “When we decided to participate in the Great Place to Work survey last fall, our objectives were to gain insights into how other companies create great work experiences for their employees and to apply those learnings as we grow. It is humbling to be recognized as a FORTUNE Best Workplace for Millennials, because Finit really does feel like a family.”

This recognition follows Finit’s fall of 2019 certification as a Great Place to Work® (GPTW), the company’s first involvement with this program. The Best Workplaces for Millennials is one of a series of rankings by Great Place to Work and FORTUNE based on employee feedback from Great Place to Work-Certified™ organizations. Earlier this year, Finit was also named one of the 2020 FORTUNE 100 Best Workplaces in Technology.
Chad Durian, Managing Partner of Finit, added, “Millennials want their work to serve a larger purpose. They recognize the value in a company culture that supports their ability to make a meaningful impact both on the job and in their community. We are constantly looking for ways to empower and develop our people, and we remain committed to learning and doing more.”

The 60-question GPTW survey assesses employee experience across 5 dimensions – credibility, fairness, pride, respect, and camaraderie. The survey is designed to help define the relationship employees have with management, with other employees, and with their personal connection to their jobs.
In the survey, 100% of Finit’s millennial respondents agreed that “I would strongly endorse my company to friends and family as a great place to work.”
“Approximately thirty percent of our employees are millennials. Millennials may be known for changing jobs frequently, but those who work at Finit say they want to work here a long time,” stated Nicole Emerson, Employee Relations Manager. “It is rewarding to know that our values resonate with millennials, and it is a privilege to work with a workforce that brings unique perspectives and shares a passion for helping our clients and each other succeed.”
The survey included an open-ended question that asked, “What makes this organization a great place to work?” These are some of the responses.
“Finit goes above and beyond to make every employee feel valued and heard.”
“Finit has created an environment where people don’t just got to work, they are truly invested in the success of the company. We take pride in the solutions we deliver, and because we are treated so well,
we feel a personal responsibility to continue to make Finit thrive.”
“We also set our own personal and professional development goals in short- and long-term
that we have our own accountability for our success at this company.
This is important to me because I excel when I’m committed to my own success.
This also allows me to be my own boss when it comes to managing my projects and tasks.”
“Finit treats its employees as family. They truly care about doing the right thing
for their employees, clients, and the communities in which we work in or visit.”
